As you might have heard, Testo is turning 60 this year. To celebrate this outstanding landmark, and because we believe the company is in a fitter state than ever, we're taking on the Testo 60 Years Charity Challenge.
We have decided to organise a worldwide charity challenge with the aim to become fitter as a team and to donate some of our profit for a good cause. In addition to the global Testo challenge we have decided to create a local challenge for all employees, family, friends, partners and everyone associated with Testo UK.
It is our goal for the UK Team Testo to achieve 25,000km of running, walking or cycling from by 22/09/2017. For every active kilometre achieved by our UK team, Testo Limited will donate £0.40 to the Treloar school and college for handicapped children. The maximum donation if we reach or overachieve our target will be £10,000.
Treloar is an incredible organisation in Alton that helps more than 150 physically disabled children from all over the UK to learn and live an independent live. 80% of all students at Treloar’s suffer from a very challenging form of cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy and 50% have to communicate with the support from augmentative communication equipment. For those of you who have not heard about Treloar, please have a look at the following link: https://www.treloar.org.uk/
You can participate in this challenge by simply logging into our Testo charity challenge website and by linking any of the supported fitness devices (i.e. FitBit, Garmin, etc.) or apps (i.e. Apple Health, Runtastic, etc.)
Just to reiterate, you don't need to donate any money yourself, all you need to do to support this amazing charity is register, then go out and start getting some kilometers under your belt!
Join Team Testo and motivate your colleagues, friends and family to participate too! Every kilometre counts and will increase our donation for this very good cause.
